The Latest and Useful Three Shadow Builds in PoE 3.5

1. PoE 3.5 MoM/EB Hybrid Whirling Blades Cold DoT Trickster Build

To jump on the cold DoT bandwagon and try my luck with a Vortex/Cold Snap build. On the other hand, that one of the most typical approaches, getting the CI Occultist, wouldn't suit my preferences resulting from slower attack speed, significantly less active playstyle and larger cost. So Trickster seemed like a perfect match.

This is yet another cold damage over time build, but using a twist because we're going Trickster, will be utilizing two new uniques introduced in 3.five also as Whirling Blades as our primary movement talent. What we got is really a fast-paced character created for those who are sick and tired of walking-simulator builds, featuring a fascinating Thoughts more than Matter and Eldritch Battery combo, a great deal of aura and buffs selections, at the same time as 3 active abilities.

Pros & Cons:
+ Everything viable (managed to beat Uber Elder on my first ever attempt)
+ Quite tanky (I have 8.2k effective health on SSF, 8.9k with some gem swaps)
+ Lots of damage prevention layers
+ Respectable damage
+ Quite good clear speed
+ Very versatile flasks (no quicksilver)
+ Can run all maps, even ele reflect maps (you won’t like it though)
+ Lots of clicking/very active playstyle
+ Looks awesome with MTX
- Essentially melee range
- Not really HC viable
- An occultist has clearly better damage
- Susceptible to lots of small hits connecting if you’re not careful
- Chaos damage can be a problem (see below)
- ES-based gearing might be a problem due to Acrobatics
- Lots of clicking/very active playstyle
- Looks like poop without MTX

Ascendancy:

1) Patient Reaper
This will make your Vortex and Cold Snap significantly more powerful at low levels and will increase your survivability when killing mobs.

2) Swift Killer
For the much-needed quality of life in the form of speed, extra damage and easier proc of Elemental Overload.

3) Prolonged Pain
Our main damage-related Ascendancy is notable. While it might seem mediocre in comparison with some Occultist nodes, it is more of a jack-of-all-trades solution since it not only gives extra damage but also increases our survivability from damage over time and makes our skills last longer. Very nice indeed.

4) Ghost Dance
Since we’re MoM/EB hybrid, Weave the Arcane seemed redundant. While Attack and Cast Speed bonus and extra damage mitigation are definitely nice, we don’t really care about our Mana pool, Mana recovery or "Manaless" movement skills. For this reason, a not so popular Ghost Dance fits the build perfectly because it strengthens our dodge- and evasion-based defenses. 40% increased Attack and Cast Speed is not too shabby either, but not particularly reliable.

2. PoE 3.5 Storm Brand Assassin Build

This build is created to Clear successfully using energy charges and critical strikes which have culling strike constructed in due to the assassin ascendancy! It summons Storm Brands that shock and crit which decimates packs of mobs each on screen and off. With Brand Recall we can pull the brands with us to a new screen, clear it AND extend the duration from the brands themselves. It has a fantastic single target for map bosses due to the fact if two brands attach themselves to the identical target, it increases the damage each and every brand does by 50% extra harm.

Pros & Cons:
+ Assassin Ascendancy means we gain culling strike on crits and we gain insane benefits from Power charges!
+ Massive amount of Damage Potential via Power charges!
+ Clears effectively and looks cool as HECK
+ Can do all content!
- Low hp
- Can sometimes do elemental reflect - must hit a crit chance breakpoint

Kill all for +2 points or Alira - Both are great

Leveling Guide:
Lifespring - wand - gives you all the stats you need to get going and casting your spells FAST.
Tabula Rasa - chest - 6 links white socket - makes your main skill basically 1 shot everything in the story
Goldrim Leather Cap - helmet - gives you some nice resistance
At level 38 replace Goldrim with The Gull - helmet - if you want to make your experience leveling more FUN
Wanderlust - boots - cannot be frozen, gives mana regen and Movement speed
Atziri Foible - amulet - gives us mana regen and lowers the gem stat requirement which could be very useful
Perandus Signet - ring - Maybe more expensive to get but it definitely helps the leveling process
Wurm's Molt - belt - stats and health

3. PoE 3.5 Critical Ball Lightning Dual Shimmeron Trickster Build

Ball Lightning and Shrapnel/Lightning Arrow. With Ball Lightning I really liked the results, I was afraid, I had never played with this skill and there are practically no builds with it in the forum for Shadow, but I relied on simulated numbers in PoB and played.

Actually, Not know what the damage caused by the build is because it is highly complex to calculate BL damage, but it destroys enemies very quickly. It is a build, at first, to have fun, because BL is a very smooth and cool skill to play, so be warned. Intend to play with this build again in the 3.6, even more in the expectation of GGG giving an improvement on certain skills and self-cast in general.

The goal with this build:
- Very easy to play. Good league starter.
- AoE is enough to have a reasonable area of damage, more damage, and QoL.
- The basic defensive set based on Trickster + MoM + Weave the Arcane.

Pros & Cons:
+ Easy to play;
+ Cheap;
+ Funny.
- Selfcast;
- Degen can kill you if you're not careful;
- Around 4.3k life (full set) at level 92 due to the fact that it will use many unique items with no life (at least 4).
- Cannot run maps with no regen, no leech, stuff like that.
- The balls cause a lot of hits, this can be a problem from time to time on computers with fewer resources.

Ascendancy:
1 - Weave the Arcane > 2 - Patient Reaper > 3 - Swift Killer > 4 - Harness the Void

Major god: Soul of Solaris
Minor God: Tukohama

Bandits: Help Alira.
